Kobe Bryant’s induction into the NBA’s Hall of Fame to be delayed

May 29, 2020 | Entertainment, Sports

The Basketball Hall of Fame’s upcoming enshrinement weekend may be scratched from this year’s calendar because of the coronavirus, President and CEO John Doleva confirmed Thursday.

The NBA intends to push the ceremony to October or early 2021 based how the pandemic events play out.

No final decision has been made yet by the NBA as they are still exploring all possible options to accommodate the ceremony among other events the organisation have already planned. They will have their final decision by June 15th.

Kobe Bryant is one of the NBA legends to be honoured at the ceremony alongside Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan and others.
